Mind-Body Renewal Camp with Edwin Riley, Ph.D
Dr. Edwin Riley, foremost author, teacher and expert on stress reduction, offers you an essential mind-body program called Mind-Body Renewal Camp. The Mind-Body Renewal Camp is for individuals and groups desiring to permanently reduce stress and achieve lifelong happiness.
Do something good for yourself that will last a lifetime. Spend a day renewing your mind/body connection, and learn proven techniques that you'll use again and again to release stress and feel better. At the Mind-Body Renewal Camp, professionals will share their knowledge with you in an idyllic oceanfront setting that will renew and refresh you.
A Day at the Camp Includes:
9:30 - 10 a.m. - Please try to arrive early so that we may begin promptly at 10.
10 - 11 a.m. - Awaken and cultivate energy (Chi) through 9 simple movements and postures with breath coordination to reduce stress
11 a.m. - Noon - Learn to locate blocked areas of unused energy for a complete mind-body connection.
12:30 - 2 p.m. - Enjoy a lunch that will cleanse and renew your body the changing season. The meal will be prepared during the session so that everyone can see its simplicity.
2 - 2:30 p.m. - Walking Meditation. Relish the beauty of nature in a guided breath walking meditation the marshes and the river with meditation.
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Experience the body in motion combining elements of dance, yoga, martial arts, Neuro-Muscular Integrated Action (NIA). NIA is soft on the body and powerful to the spirit.
3:30 - 3:45 p.m. - Live your Mind/Body Renewal Camp wisdom every day.
3:45 - 4:15 p.m. - After discovering your mind/body/spirit connection, now feel the connection to others.
